Novae Dentes which translates as “News with bite” (and, rather confusingly as New Teeth?) is the brain-child of Graduate of Philosophy; former local election candidate and student politico; and wannabe columnist Mark Patrick. Novae Dentes was founded in October 2009 as a blog which commented on the various News Stories of the day, with no
holds barred, rapier sharp opinion on topics as varied as Cheryl Cole, and the Catholic Church.
The recent aquisition of the domain name novaedentes.com in July 2010 marks an ambitious step forward for the brand taking on not just the blog some of you may know and love, some have yet to discover. But also opening up a forum which aims to be a mecca for discussion on all the greatest topics of the day from politics, religion, science, right through to idle gossip and tittle-tattle. Founder, Mark Patrick described the forum as ' a place where everyone can speak their mind and have complete freedom of speech' and 'provide more than just one voice at any one time on a story'.
There are even more ambitious ideas in the pipeline waiting to see the light of day. When questioned on what his plans for the future were, Mark said that he had 'a great many plans for the future. Quite apart from the blog that so many of you know and love, and the forum I'm sure you'll enjoy just as much, I am now more than happy to take commissions from interested parties for various pieces, any topic, any style. In time I hope to have a fully fledged Media Service Provider established providing material for various clients.'
